Sandra Bullock, Jesse James divorce finalized

Sandra Bullock and Jesse James are divorced! A court clerk in Austin, Texas, confirmed that the divorce between the Oscar-winning actress and celebrity biker was finalized Monday. Bullock filed to end the marriage in April after reports surfaced that James had been unfaithful. Details of the settlement were sealed by the court, but Bullock’s initial filing cited “discord or conflict of personalities” as grounds for the divorce. An attorney for Bullock did not immediately return calls to The Associated Press on Tuesday, but her publicist, Cheryl Maisel, confirmed the couple’s split was complete. James’ publicist did not immediately respond to a request for comment. The actress and “Monster Garage” star met in 2003 and married in 2005. It seemed like an odd pairing — the movie star often called “America’s Sweetheart” marrying the tattooed biker who had been wed twice before. It was the first marriage for Bullock, who became a devoted stepmom to James’ children: Sunny, 6; Jesse Jr., 12; and Chandler, 15. Posted by Joanna

Sandra Bullock and Faith Hill wrap their arms around Tim McGraw backstage at Nashville Rising, a benefit concert for flood relief held at Bridgestone Arena on Tuesday (June 22) in Nashville, Tennessee. At the show, Sandra, 45, shared her thoughts on the disaster and the community’s response. “They say a community is only as strong as its weakest link,” she shared (via Tennessean). “And from where I stand, I see no weak links.” Sandy also performed a brief rendition of a classic before introducing Faith! “If I could have some quiet, please,” she laughed as she picked out the opening notes of “Smoke on the Water”.

Sandra Bullock Only Sleeps Three Hours A Night

Sandra Bullock loves being a new mom. So much in fact that only getting three hours a sleep each night doesn’t bother her one bit. The Oscar winning actress, who recently took custody of her adopted son, Louis, and has admitted finding pleasure in changing diapers and has also “learned that a little person screaming at the top of his lungs can mean six things”…and she will figure out which one it is and fix it. The 45-year-old added that there’s nothing hard about loving her new son, and even laughed at the parallels of art imitating life: Bullock referred to her Oscar winning role in Blind Side – a movie about a family who adopt a son. Sandra has been spotted dividing her time between her secret hideaway in Austin, Texas, and her historic Garden District home in New Orleans, which has quickly become a tourist attraction. Not only did Kristen Stewart rock a funky little D&G look, but MTV News was on hand as “Jersey Shore” star Snooki went dress shopping. She really wanted something stunning — since she would be hosting the red carpet with our very own Sway — and, she delivered. We loved her little sparkly, white number. Speaking of things that delivered, we loved what we saw in the “Eclipse” exclusive clip that made its debut at the awards show, even though some might argue Bella’s motorcycle high jinx were very un-Bella like. We are still watching it on loop, are you? And finally, when Mark Wahlberg exited the Gibson Amphitheatre, MTV News was fortunately on hand to capture his apology to “Harry Potter” star Tom Felton, whose speech he interrupted. Sandra Bullock And Ryan Reynolds Have A New ‘Proposal’: To Star In ‘Most Wanted’ Together

Maybe her jealousy was less from the fact that her hubby got to smooch the Generation Award winning star in “The Proposal” and more from the fact he’s be getting to do it all over again in the upcoming “Most Wanted.” Pitched by “The Proposal” screenwriter Pete Chiarelli and set to be directed by “The Proposal’s” Anne Fletcher (and produced by the same producers as well), “Most Wanted” seems to be wanted to replicate the winning formula that made “The Proposal” such a hit last year, while adding some of the action that has made Sandra a star in the past. The plot follows a criminal suspect (Sandra) who is captured and escorted to court by an FBI Agent (Ryan) before they are ambushed and sent on the run. Or, basically “The Bounty Hunter” minus the lame oh-hey-they’re-ex’s angle and with the potential to be good. Zing! Since “The Proposal” was the film that started Sandra’s big comeback last year, it’s not too surprising that she chose to reunite with the same team for her first film of 2010. We’re also glad to see that Ryan has taken a break from all his comic book movies (as much as we are ridiculously excited for all of them) to work on another romcom. But in this situation, we’re interested to see the next movie Scarlett will make. She has shown that she isn’t willing to let Ryan have all the fun (she followed his into comic book films in “Iron Man 2″ and, of course, stole that infamous smooch), so we’re kind of hoping that she picks up some sort of role in “Most Wanted.” Or at least stars in a romcom of her own. The creative team behind “The Proposal” — stars Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds, director Anne Fletcher, writer Pete Chiarelli and producers David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman — are reuniting for “Most Wanted,” an action comedy project that sold to Universal over the weekend. The story sees Bullock as a criminal suspect with Reynolds as an FBI agent who is supposed to be escorting her to court when the two are ambushed and forced to go on the run. The project is described as having a tone similar to that of “Midnight Run,” Universal’s 1988 action comedy starring Robert De Niro and Charles Grodin. Universal is developing a sequel to “Midnight Run.” The pitch originally went into Disney, the company that made “Proposal,” the hit romantic comedy made via its Touchstone label that grossed more than $317 million and was part of Bullock’s comeback year. Since the movie’s June 2009 release, however, Disney has undergone a regime change and the company is de-emphasizing Touchstone, preferring to focus on the core Disney brand and hoping to make movies that can be taken advantage by the wide spectrum of the company. When Disney passed, the team took a breather before taking it to the rest of the town. By late last week, the project was fielding multiple offers before being captures by Universal. Reynolds will also exec produce along with this Dark Trick Films partner Jonathon Komack-Martin. Chiarelli is a former MGM exec who in his spare time wrote “The Proposal.” The script has kicked off a writing career, with the scribe working on “What Men Want” for Paramount and “Forever 21″ at DreamWorks. ‘Eclipse’ Cast Takes Sides On MTV Movie Awards Kisses: Robsten Or Sandra And ScarJo?

By Cara Alwill Love was certainly in the air last night at the MTV Movie Awards, and the kisses were a plenty. Not only was the “kiss cam” capturing smooches all throughout the audience, our favorite celebs were heating up the stage with impromptu displays of affection all night long. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart locked lips, and it was, without a doubt, a bit more awkward than their on-screen love fest. But the show-stopping smooch of the night came from two unsuspecting ladies: Sandra Bullock and Scarlett Johansson. So, who can swamp spit better? The cast of “New Moon” weighed in after the show! Elizabeth Reaser was all for the ladies. “I’ve never seen Scarlett and Sandra Bullock make out, so I’ll go for the novelty of the hotness, which takes it up a notch,” she told MTV News. “That was hot. That was genuinely hot. I didn’t expect it. Those things are usually a little forced, a little weird. And it was sort of genuinely hot.” “I got to go Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson,” Peter Facinelli argued. “They’re my people. They’re my family. But that other one was pretty hot too.”  Jackson Rathbone was in agreement with Elizabeth. “Hands down, easy — that was Scarlett and Sandra Bullock. That was some sexiness,” he said. “I liked it. You should do it more often!” Anna Kendrick didn’t get a first-hand look at the spit swapping, so she wasn’t able to properly cast her vote. But she plans on taking a closer look. “Of course, I’m backstage for both of them,” she confessed. “I didn’t really get an angle on it. 2010 MTV Movie Awards Fashion: Sandra Bullock, Anna Kendrick Among Our Best Dressed

We’ve been looking forward to this year’s MTV Movie Awards for quite some time now, and we’ve got to say, it did not disappoint. Of course, the best part of the night, at least for us, was checking out the outfits. Surprisingly, we loved only a handful (stay tuned for our worst dressed picks), but the few that made the cut very much deserved it. So, check out the list and let us know if you agree!  Now, who doesn’t love Sandra Bullock? The girl is just the epitome of elegance. Not only did she give a speech that defined class, but she looked great doing it in a short black Oday Chakar dress with a plunging back, which prompted Betty White to tell her “Don’t ever wear that dress backwards!” Another favorite of the night was Scarlett Johansson, who stood in for hubby Ryan Reynolds while Sandra was accepting her Generation Award. Scarlett looked phenomenal in a lacy green Dolce & Gabbana dress, which was paired nicely with a thin black belt. We liked the fit of the outfit and the fact that she wore her hair loose and wavy.  Whitney Port proved she’s deserving of her own fashion line, when she showed up in a strapless yellow and nude Yigal Azrouel that made us swoon a thousand times. As if that wasn’t enough to convince us that the girl’s got great taste, her shoes were completely unconventional and eye-catching. Our consensus? She might be the runaway best dressed winner this year. It’s not a huge surprise that Anna Kendrick, who won the award for Best Breakout Star, also made it on to our list, the girl’s pretty much a regular at this point! Anna won us over yet again in a flirty Zac Posen dress that fit the occasion perfectly.  Rising star Victoria Justice may only be 17, but she’s quickly becoming one of our favorite young fashionistas. We thought her patterned one-shoulder BCBG Max Azria dress, with a solid layer of pink down the middle was playful, youthful and very trendy. Speaking of young and stylish, Miranda Cosgrove impressed us in a bold Versace Versus dress, which complemented her dark hair.  Finally, we’re going to end with a look we’re still on the fence about! To start off with on a positive note, Kristen Stewart looks absolutely great in a ponytail, unfortunately though we don’t have the same conviction about her Dolce & Gabbana dress. Sure, it was form fitting, but at the same time, the top and skirt wasn’t super flattering. To her credit, it wasn’t the worst we’ve seen on her, and her fans loved it. Many of gushed to us via Twitter: @kstewlove and @puaena said they liked the outfit because it showed off her legs, while @kstewangel said the look was classy but her own style. Our favorite comment though was from @Shopgrrl81To who reminded us that any girl who can rock knuckle rings and a tweed skirt is pretty badass. Now THAT we can agree with.
