Sandra Bullock still wants to play a role in the lives of Jesse James’ children even though she has filed for divorce from their father.
Sandra Bullock will continue to co-parent Jesse James’ children.
The Oscar-winning actress – who has filed for divorce from the ‘Monster Garage’ host following allegations he cheated on her with at least four women – says she still wants to play a role in the lives of Chandler, 15, Jesse Jr., 12, and six-year-old Sunny even though she’s no longer with their father.
She told People magazine: “I don’t want to know what life is like without those kids. Whatever we need to do, in the healthiest way, we are going to be co-parenting.”
Yesterday (28.04.10), the 45-year-old beauty announced she had adopted a three-month-old baby boy, Louis Bardo, in January with Jesse but would now be raising him as a single parent.
Sandra filed for divorce on April 23 in Travis County District Court in Austin, Texas, after the marriage became “insupportable”.
Papers obtained by ‘Access Hollywood’ stated: “The marriage. has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate end of the marriage/relationship and prevents any reasonable expectations of reconciliation.”
Speaking about the legal separation, Sandra said: “I’m sad and I’m scared.”
Jesse, 41, has also spoken out about the divorce, saying losing Sandra is the “hardest” thing he has ever faced and is devastated she will now be the sole guardian of Louis.
He said: “My whole life has been full of hard decisions. The decision to let my wife end our marriage, and continue the adoption of Louis on her own, has been the hardest. The love I have for Louis cannot be put to words. Not having him around to love and to hold has left a huge hole in my heart.”

i have long admired sandra bullock and my heart goes out to her with all that has happened. im sure your new son will fill you with all the joy love and happiness you so definatly deserve. congratulations on having another lovely child who is blessed to be able to share your life. Also hoping that you are able to be in the lives of jessies children. you are not just my favorite actress but a woman of class, beauty,loyalty, intellegence and warmth.
i just would like you too know you reach out to alot of people with your movies but to even more with the grace with which you handle any situation your in. You probably wont get to read this but i wish you love and happiness and thank you for all the joy your movies have brought me and my family of 7. keep being who you are and dont let anyone get you down. we are all wishing you the best on this new chapter in your life.

I just finished watching,”The Blind Side.” Sandra, this was one of the most enjoyable movies I have seen in a long time. You were great and I laughed through the whole movie. Priceless!!! I’m so sorry to hear of all the heartache you are experiencing, but maybe it will help you to know there are a lot of people out here praying for you lady. I believe in the power of prayer Sandra. You keep your head up and your eyes on Jesus, He will not fail you. You are one of the good ones in Hollywood, stay that way and never dip your colors. I admire you very much for the stand you took during this personal crisis. Jesse will one day realize that he lost the best person that could have ever crossed into his life. Some men think they are all that, but they find out later they were deceived. There is someone out there for you Sandra. Don’t go looking on your own, but pray about it. We get in trouble sometimes when we don’t let God help us find that perfect someone. God will put the right person in your path that is the one He had for you all along. It will be hard to co-parent if Bullock, does, indeed, relocate to New Orleans on a mostly fulltime basis. Is Jesse planning to see the CA house and relocate, too? What a sorry mess he made of their family life. Shame on him. Since there were so many women it had to come out if only to protect Sandra health-wise. To listen to the trashy Michelle McGee now, you would think she found God and has had a revelation. Too bad she didn’t go that route in the beginning. I wish the best to mommy Sandra and little Louis. I also hope the three other James children can find stability. That said, I wish Jesse James would just disappear. He makes me ill.
Sandra, you have been my favorite actress since I was on my younger age. You are the best actress with a good character. Not many actresses who are doing like you do in your life. The Blind Side award is what you deserved although afterward you have lost your so called beautiful marriage. Sandra, just think that your marriage is not meant to be because our Lord Jesus have a better plan for your life with your new baby Louis. There is always a reason out of a sacrificing for the Believers so, God bless your heart and let your painful heart leave with a full blessings for your ex-husband and stay deeply with Christ as He is the One what you need in your life. He is the only One who is not letting you down but stand beside of you during your difficulties time. With Jesus, you will get over and find the happiness that He will provide for you. I have been a long time fan of yours. When you were in Smithville, Texas filming “Hope Floats” I was going through a divorce that was very public. My 15 year marriage ended when my husband had an affair and got his secretary pregnant…he was an administrator in public education. We had only been here 1 1/2 yrs when this happened. My daughter and I were devastated, but we held our heads high, continued going to church, she was a head cheerleader, 3rd in her class (straight A’s) and a strong gymnast going to meets, state, and regional levels. It was with God’s help that we got through it and I am sure it is with His help that you will too.
I remember seeing you walk past the table I was at at 12:30 am at the Fire Dept. while filming the parade scene. You looked in our direction, spoke, smiled, and continued on. Months after the filming completed I met a gentlemen who grew up in this quiet town. We went to the grand screening and oohed and aawed all through the movie. So many of our friends were extras, including the house it was filmed in. It is one of my favorite movies. My daughter took the DVD with her to college and would watch it when she could not come home. She competed in gymnastics in college, 2x won National Championships, graduated summa cum laude and received a NCAA scholarship (1 of 29 women in the US) and went to graduate school to become a physical therapist (also summa cum laude). She now lives in Austin, Texas, works for a clinic and has started her own physical therapy and personal training business and has been recognized by Texas Women’s University alumni and Texas State alumni as a top entrepeneur. She has passion. knowledge, and skills…she will go far in life. And Sandra, you have all of that too. You have gone far in life…passion, knowledge, and skills have taken you far and you give back to communities. The “Blind Side” has now taken the 2nd spot as being a favorite that you have done.
