Sandra Bullock filed for divorce April 23 at Travis County Court in Austin, Texas, RadarOnline.com has learned.

The official document states that the cause for the divorce is “because of discord or conflict of personalities that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any hope of reconciliation.”

Other key tidbits: the document states there are no children over 18 in the marriage and no protective order was sought.

The identities of Bullock and her estranged husband Jesse James under her initials were concealed rather slyly, as the case was filed under both of the initials of their real names with the letters scrambled (Sandra Annette Bullock filed as B.A.S; Jesse Gregory James was filed under J.J.G).

While James has made it publicly clear he wants to stay with the Oscar-winner, and is trying to cure his allegedly adulterous ways via rehab, Bullock seems to want no part of it, despite the new revelation the pair were deep in the process of adopting an infant boy.

People managing editor Larry Hackett, appearing on The Today Show Wednesday, said that the Bullock was not bitter, but rather viewed the instances as a positive life lesson from which to build upon.

“Yes, I have filed for a divorce. I don’t know what else to say. I’m sad, and I’m scared,” Bullock — who was snapped last week without her wedding ring — told People Magazine. “We wouldn’t know the sweet moments in life unless we had the pain, and painfully, I’m going to miss so much.”
